Taylor Design received five awards in the 2005 American Graphic Design Awards Competition. The firm won for its print designs for GE Consumer Finance, the University of New Haven, and Marble Hill Chocolatier, as well as websites for the CTFA Foundation and the writer Stacey Resnikoff.

The Taylor Design basketball team, Los Blanquitos, finished in second place in the Connecticut Art Director’s Club 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in New Haven, losing by one point in the final to the Bertz Design Group. The players were Steve Habersang, Mark Barrett and Ken Hocker.

Taylor Design received four awards in the 2005 Connecticut Art Directors Club Annual Awards Competition. The firm won two silver awards for the Look Good…Feel Better for Men website and the Marble Hill Chocolatier identity. It also received two Awards of Excellence for its GE Capital poster series and the Westport Creative Arts Festival identity. The awards event was held at Mohegan Sun on June 21.

Two awards were awarded to Taylor Design from the Admissions Marketing Report’s 20th Annual Admissions Advertising Awards. Taylor Design, along with partner firm Keating Associates of Natick, MA, was honored with a Gold Award for the Advertising Campaign for St. Joseph’s College New York and a Bronze Award for the Prospective Parents Newsletter for Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, CT. AMR is one of the education industry’s most prestigious marketing publications and a recognized editorial leader in academic marketing performance.

Our submission, “Imagine That! Poster Series” for GE Commercial Finance, has earned an Honorable Mention in the 2005 ASPC Masters Communication Awards competition in the category of Marketing Materials – Print.
