I first learned of Athens-based artist Teo Zirinis from a co-worker’s wife. She introduced me to his Instagram profile and I became immediately hooked. Since then, Zirinis’ quirky little creations have consistently brought a smile to my face! His work is silly, simple, and takes subtle jabs at familiar everyday items. His inanimate objects engage in hypothetical conversations laced with a pun or two adding personality to his interpretations. There seems to be no bounds to his imagination. Salad bowls speak to each other, toilet paper rolls chat, wine bottles sit for therapy, and cheeses insult each other. You can follow Teo Zirinis on Instagram too and I am sure that his work will bring a smile to your face.
