Nissin has teamed up with Japanese design firm, nendo, to create the perfect fork for your cup noodles. Check out the beautifully made video for it!
The fork, designed after hours of user observation, has many features that one normally wouldn’t think about.
nendo designed the fork to have the optimal angle of 128 degrees for scooping. They also made the tips and sides of the fork have the same circular angle as the cup.
The fork tines are designed to help pick up noodles by having small bumps, while the pocket helps to scoop.
If that wasn’t enough features for you, they also ribbed the backside of the fork to help clip the lid to the cup when cooking, and it is also ergonomically designed with two versions for left and right handed people with its own carrying case!
If you happen to live in Japan and want to get your own Nissin fork, you’ll have to buy a set of 3 or 5 cup noodles (625 – 726 yen) and it will be available on Nissin’s website starting October 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM Japan time. Be quick, there are only 3,000 of these made!
