Flutterby Butterfly

After building out my HTML and CSS animated version of Cindy’s “Lunch and Learn” logo last week, I was inspired to take on some coding challenges on CodePen. CodePen is a social development environment where you can write code in the browser and see the results instantly. It is one of my favorite places to discover new ideas, play around, get creative, and push myself. CodePen holds monthly coding challenges featuring a different theme with a different subject each week. The final subject to close out May’s “Animal Kingdom” theme was “Insects.” I decided to challenge myself by creating a fluttering butterfly with HTML and CSS. See below for a live look at what I came up with. Of course, there is always room for improvement, but I’m pretty happy with the result.

Hope you enjoy!
