An identity program created for Klingenstein Philanthropies by Art Director Steph Mullins has been chosen for inclusion in the new book “Logo Lounge 12.” From the publisher: “Your work was picked from among the 42,000 logos reviewed by our international judging panel of designers, including Dan Janssen, Mackey Saturday, Veronica Fuerte, Chris Do, Jonathan Rudolph, Justin Ahrens, Szende Brassai, Tamari Chabukiani, Bruno Campos and Eddie Lobanovskiy.” The new book will be released by Rockport Publishers. We received notice from UCDA that our work was selected as a winner in the 2020 UCDA Design Awards competition. The project chosen was the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Brigham Health magazine. The piece was designed by Steve Habersang; illustrated by Michael Hoeweler, John Holcroft, and Cindy Lau; written by Joy Howard, Jennifer Reardon, and Lauren Thompson; and photographed by Stu Rosner, and Len Rubinstein; and the digital publication programmed by Hannah Wool.
Taylor Design received six awards in the 2019 UCDA Competition. The winning entries include Sarah Lawrence College’s alumni magazine, the University of New Haven alumni magazine, Brigham & Women’s Hospital’s magazine, the New Hampton School viewbook, and Dana Hall School’s “Vision 2025″ book and website. Designers include Hannah F., Steph, Steve, and Bria. Hannah W. programmed the Dana Hall School website.

Our team earned 11 awards at the 45th Annual CT Art Directors Club Awards Show, including work for Mount Sinai Health System, The University of New Haven, Brigham Health, Sarah Lawrence College, Dana Hall School, Hudson Valley Fisheries, New Hampton School, and our studio. Our 2019 Taylor Design Calendar entry has been selected to be published in Creative Quarterly 56, which will go live in October 2019. It was designed by Bria, written by Stacey, illustrated by Cindy, printed by Printech, and conceived by the Taylor Design team.
Steve, Cindy, and their tri-colored Rocket Pop are featured in the June 2019 issue of WAG Magazine. The article by Bob Rozycki, titled “Go’N Spacey,” profiles the artists who painted the UFOs and rockets for Stamford’s Space Invasion public art exhibit. One of our projects, a sales book called All About Muehlstein, was selected as a winner in the 2018 Print Regional Design Awards competition and will be featured in the the HOW + Print book “The Best of Design,” scheduled to be released in Spring of 2019. The piece was designed by Steve Habersang, illustrated by Kate Bingaman Burt, and written by Philip Davidson and Damian Mullin of Muehlstein.
