Terex Corporation

Elevating Engagement for an Aerial Equipment Company

Terex Corporation is a global manufacturer of equipment ranging from trucks and construction machinery to cranes and aerial work platforms. With 16,000 people working in 50 facilities around the world, Terex leaders were looking for ways to ensure that critical messages were being delivered accurately and effectively—not an easy task when communicating across regions, cultures, and cultural norms. For their ethics and safety campaign, they selected Taylor Design. With “Ethics. It’s Everyone’s Job” as the uniting theme and a code of conduct as its foundation, Taylor Design created an ongoing series of monthly e-newsletters, guides, and posters—all of which were translated into twelve languages. Said one member of the Terex Governance Board: “This is the best communications system I’ve ever seen.”
